Children: is Omegor Kids suitable for 2-year-olds?

Hello. My son is 30 months old and I would like to give him Omegor Kids. Can I give it at this age? Thank you.

Dear Madam,

After two years of age, it is generally accepted to introduce honey into children's diets—so if your pediatrician agrees, you can supplement your child's diet with the product Omegor Kids. Omegor Kids is an algal oil emulsion (thus a vegetable-origin oil) and honey flavored with orange, providing:

  • omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin C.

The product is designed for children: here you can find the updated product sheet to share with your child's pediatrician. The dose I recommend is 1 measuring teaspoon per day, to be taken as is or added to yogurt, smoothies, or lukewarm or cold drinks. The product has a pleasant taste even for the palate of younger children.
