The benefits of Omega-3 have been on everyone's lips for over 50 years. In fact, it was the 70s of the last century when Danish researchers Hans Olaf Bang and Jørn Dyerberg, intrigued by the low incidence of coronary problems (the arteries that carry blood to the heart) in the Eskimo populations who inhabited Greenland, went there to find out what the elixir was that protected their hearts; that's how the benefits of a diet rich in these fats, abundant in the foods that characterize the diet of these populations, emerged for the first time.
