I would like to take Cardiol and Vitality to reduce cholesterol. Is it possible? If so, what are the optimal combinations?
Dear Edoardo,
The content of Omega-3 EPA and DHA in 1 capsule of Cardiol is 500 milligrams, while in one capsule of Omegor Vitality 1000 there are at least 630 milligrams of EPA and DHA. The combination of these two products is recommended precisely to increase the daily intake of Omega-3. The Food and Drug Administration (the U.S. agency that regulates drugs and foods) considers doses up to 3 grams of EPA and DHA to be safe.
For daily doses exceeding this amount, it is advisable to consult your trusted physician. The recommended daily intake of EPA and DHA is at least 500 milligrams. For an adult with a moderate level of physical activity, an intake of at least 1600 milligrams of EPA and DHA is recommended. Therefore, I suggest taking 1 capsule of Cardiol and 2 capsules of Omegor Vitality 1000 to reach a total daily intake of 1760 milligrams of Omega-3 EPA and DHA. In case of high triglyceride levels, you may increase up to 3 capsules per day of Omegor Vitality. If, on your doctor's advice, you increase the dose of Cardiol to 2 capsules, you can take up to 2 capsules of Omegor Vitality.
I remain available for any further information.
Best regards,
Dr. Rosaria Ramondino
