Chronic Inflammation at 12: Which Omega-3?
Dear Katia,
To address the chronic inflammation process, I recommend checking with your pediatrician or specialist the possibility of supplementing your child's diet with VitaDHA liquid:
- VitaDHA liquid is a dietary supplement in single-dose vials based on purified fish oil of the highest quality, providing a high dosage of omega-3 DHA;
- the introduction of omega-3 through supplementation may promote a potential regulation upstream of inflammation intermediates;
- it could therefore also help to reduce the inflammatory process - that is, the process related to inflammation.
In particular, omega-3 DHA promotes the production of resolvins, endogenous molecules that have the task of interrupting the inflammatory response when it is no longer needed - and could therefore potentially contribute to normalizing the state of chronic inflammation. The recommended dosage for VitaDHA liquid is 1 vial per day, to be taken as is or added to fruit yogurt or lukewarm or cold foods and drinks. The fish oil contained therein is deodorized and lemon-flavored and has a very pleasant taste. The minimum supplementation period I recommend is at least 2-3 months. I remain available for further information.
