Is it possible to take Omegor Vitality and Omegor Antiage at the same time? If so, could it be harmful in case of pregnancy?
I take 3 capsules of Omegor Vitality per day. I would like to know if I can use the new product Omegor Antiage, at what dosage, and how to manage it in relation to Vitality. Additionally, I would like to know if the new Omegor Antiage could be harmful to the fetus. Kind regards and thank you, Francesca
Dear Francesca,
you can supplement your diet with our new product Omegor Antiage: 1 capsule per day to be taken shortly before a main meal.
Considering that you are currently taking 3 capsules/day of Omegor Vitality (I assume 1410 mg), to reach the same level of Omega-3 fatty acid supplementation you can combine Omegor Antiage with 2 capsules per day of Vitality. Regarding your intention to soon start a pregnancy, I would advise you to take the product VitaDHA Materna from the periconceptional period through the first 6 months of breastfeeding (including pregnancy). VitaDHA Materna is an Omega-3 fatty acid supplement (particularly DHA) and Extrafolina (the active form of folic acid) designed to:
- support conception;
- reduce the risk of neural tube defects;
- reduce the risk of miscarriage and preterm birth;
- promote optimal development of the baby's central nervous system.
The dosage is 1 capsule per day, always to be taken before meals. I hope I have been helpful and remain available for any further questions or clarifications.
Best regards,
Dr. Jessica Lolli, Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
