I would like to take a supplement to lower cholesterol, what do you think? Which one do you recommend?
I had blood tests with the following results: total cholesterol 167; HDL cholesterol 44; triglycerides 262; blood sugar 114. I would like to point out that I take medication for blood pressure control. Specifically: 1 Lobivon 5 mg and 1 Zantipride 30mg/12mg per day. I would like to take one of your supplements. What do you think and which one do you recommend? I await your advice before proceeding with the purchase.
Dear Girolamo,
The values you reported are quite positive. Scientific evidence has definitively shown that 2 grams per day of Omega-3 EPA and DHA reduce blood triglyceride levels by 20 to 40%. Therefore, I suggest taking 3 capsules daily of Omegor Vitality 1410 mg, which correspond to 2.1 grams of EPA+DHA. Omegor Vitality is a very pure fish oil supplement with an EPA-DHA ratio of 2:1, the ideal proportion of the two Omega-3 fatty acids useful to:
- promote heart health by balancing HDL cholesterol and triglycerides;
- reduce inflammation, which in some cases is subclinical and manifests with headaches, malaise, dry skin, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, etc.
I remain available for any further information.
Kind regards,
Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
