my advice is to follow your doctor's instructions. Cardiol Forte is a dietary supplement that contains Monacolin K, a natural statin derived from red yeast rice, which helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. 

Cardiol Forte is also rich in omega-3 EPA and DHA from fish oil which support normal heart function, and contains natural molecules that help reduce oxidative stress and regulate homocysteine metabolism, a substance which, if in excess in our body, represents a risk factor for many cardiovascular diseases.
