Do your supplements contain halibut liver oil?

Dear Gessica, we specialize in the production of Omega-3 supplements, but we do not use halibut liver oil.

Vitamin A has long been used in the treatment of skin disorders. Dietary supplementation with Omega-3 and GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) is helpful for individuals suffering from acne as it helps reduce skin inflammation. Our product Omegor Antiage is rich in Omega-3, GLA, and antioxidants that support skin nourishment, reduce oxidative stress, and contribute to the overall health of the skin. GLA performs important functions in our body, but the enzyme responsible for its production becomes less active after the age of 30. A deficiency in GLA has been linked to:

  • typical symptoms of premenstrual syndrome;
  • disorders during pre- and post-menopause;
  • certain forms of acne.

If you are unable to find the halibut oil product recommended by your dermatologist, I suggest discussing with them the possibility of combining vitamin A therapy with supplements containing Omega-3/Omega-6 fatty acids. I remain available for any further information and send you my best regards. Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
