What are the ingredients of VitaDHA Kids?

Dear Fabio,

Omegor Kids (the new name for VitaDHA Kids) is a liquid supplement flavored with orange. It is available in single-dose sachets containing 200 milligrams of DHA from algal oil. The amount of DHA present is recommended by the European Commission as well as by the most authoritative pediatric and clinical nutrition associations worldwide to support the physical, intellectual, and behavioral development of children. Omega-3 DHA is a fundamental component of the membranes of nervous system cells and also plays a role in the development of visual capabilities. The formulation is enriched with:

  • vitamin D3, important for the fixation of calcium and phosphates in bones and tooth enamel;
  • vitamin C, an antioxidant useful for stimulating the immune system.

The presence of honey, a natural energy source with antibacterial, soothing, and emollient properties, makes the product particularly pleasant. The recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day:

  • to be taken alone, for example, as a snack replacement;
  • or added to plain or fruit yogurt.

There is no need to take it on a full stomach, which makes the product very convenient as it can be taken anywhere and at any time of the day.

Complete composition

  • Honey.
  • High DHA oil derived from the microalga Schizochytrium sp (sunflower oil, sunflower lecithin, rosemary extract, tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate).
  • Concentrated orange juice.
  • Water.
  • Concentrated pear juice.
  • Concentrated lemon juice.
  • Vitamin C.
  • Vitamin D3.
  • Emulsifier: polysorbate 20.
  • Preservative: potassium sorbate.

Best regards, and I remain available for any further clarifications.
