How many Omega-3 capsules should I take per day to lower my cholesterol levels?

Hello, in my latest blood test the total cholesterol is 257, and HDL is 87: how many Omegor capsules should I take per day to lower the value? I kindly await your response. Best regards.

Dear Annapaola,

Omegor Vitality 1000 is a high-concentration supplement of Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, whose intake supports the reduction of triglycerides and the increase of HDL cholesterol (“good cholesterol”).

From what you wrote, your HDL cholesterol is already high: therefore, the most suitable supplement for your case is Cardiol, which is rich in active ingredients that help naturally reduce total and LDL cholesterol. Among the main ingredients:

  • red yeast rice
  • policosanols
  • bioflavonoids from Citrus Aurantium
  • tocotrienols

Combined with an appropriate diet, this formulation helps lower LDL and total cholesterol levels. The antioxidants and Omega-3s also help maintain cardiovascular health. I recommend taking 1 Cardiol capsule shortly before dinner: if you are already using Omegor Vitality 1000, you may continue taking 1 capsule per day.

You can expect to see beneficial effects gradually over 8 weeks of supplementation. I remain available for any further questions you may have.

Best regards
