Which supplement for my daughter's daily intake of EPA and DHA?
Dear Donatella,
VitaDHA is a liquid formulation that contains 1250 mg of DHA and 360 mg of EPA.
The ratio is in favor of DHA, as in certain situations, high doses of this Omega-3 fatty acid are beneficial. This formulation is intended for good vision function, as well as for children with inflammatory conditions of various natures and/or neurobehavioral disorders:
- ADHD
- Hyperactivity
- Dyslexia
- Developmental disorders
- Anxiety
Straightforwardly, your daughter does not appear to have these issues, which is why I recommended the other products. You did well to stop the treatment: diarrhea is one of the side effects that can occur in case of overdose. We have never received reports regarding any unpleasant odor from the skin and hair. You can also supplement your daughter's diet with Omega-3 EPA and DHA: it will be sufficient to take the oil contained in one capsule of Omegor Vitality 1000. Omegor Kids contains only DHA. The dosage of 1 sachet is sufficient, also due to its content of vitamins C and D3.
Best regards,
