Omega-3 supplements, how to store them?

Hello, I just purchased 3 packs of Omegor Vitality capsules, and I wanted to know the best way to store the product. The box says to keep it at room temperature, but on the website I read it would be better to keep it in the refrigerator. Thank you in advance. Francesco

Dear Francesco,

Omega-3 dietary supplements have minimum storage conditions indicated on the packaging. To best preserve Omegor Vitality, it is sufficient to keep the package in a cool, dry place, for example inside a cabinet or drawer.

The packaging of dietary supplements such as Omegor Vitality capsules is designed specifically to guarantee the preservation of the nutrients:

  • the capsules are packaged in blister packs, to individually protect them from air and moisture;
  • the blister packs are themselves contained in a secondary packaging, represented by the box.

At room temperature and in a cool, dry place, there are no storage problems for dietary supplements. However, if the temperature in the place where the package is stored exceeds 30°C, it is recommended to keep at least the blister packs in the refrigerator.

With the scorching heat this summer, storing Omegor Vitality and other dietary supplements in the fridge might be advisable — but in any case, it is not necessary.

I remain available for further information.

Best regards,
