Can Omega-3s Help with Male Infertility?

Hello, I would like to know if there is an omega-3 supplement that helps improve sperm quality weakened by various infections. Thank you.

Dear Sebastiano,

According to some studies, DHA is a substance useful for the formation and protection of sperm and for male fertility. Therefore, supplementation with DHA could be important and helpful in cases of male infertility. In particular, I share the link to a Spanish study: https://nuabiological.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Articulo-NuaDHA-Mejora-esperma-2018.pdf, where the results show that an optimal DHA intake can have a beneficial effect on sperm. In the study, 1500 mg of DHA were administered daily for 10 weeks.

Based on this, I recommend VitaDHA liquid, a dietary supplement rich in the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. The formulation contains an even purer and more natural fish oil produced through a refining process that preserves the natural form of the oil as much as possible, keeps it stable longer, and gives it a neutral taste. Additionally, the formulation is enhanced with lemon flavor.

I recommend 1 vial of VitaDHA liquid daily for at least 2-3 months of supplementation, to be taken before a main meal either as is or added to cold foods like yogurt or spreadable cheese. The supplementation can be continued over time without side effects.
