Stopping and Restarting Omega-3 After 1 Month: The Right Choice?

I have been taking 3 capsules per day of Omegor Vitality 1 gram for 4 months. My GP told me to stop for a month and then resume. Apparently, these are the guidelines of global medicine. What do you think and what do you advise?

Dear Maria,

The minimum period of Omega-3 supplementation is approximately 2 months, which is necessary to favor the accumulation of fatty acids in cell membranes. The supplementation can be continuous or cyclic (3-4 months), with suspension periods varying according to individual needs. It is a dietary supplement with nutrients essential to our diet, which can be taken for long periods (even years) without causing tolerance, contraindications, or side effects due to prolonged intake.

The process of multiple molecular distillation eliminates the risk of pollutant accumulation and guarantees the high purity of the fish oil contained in the capsules of Omegor Vitality

I remain available for any further information.
