What supplements for high cholesterol?
Dear Giorgia,
I would recommend taking Cardiol, a supplement rich in active ingredients and vitamins that promote cardiovascular health. Omega-3 EPA and DHA help to:
- reduce blood triglycerides;
- promote an increase in "good" HDL cholesterol;
- stabilize heart rate and rhythm.
Cardiol, thanks to folic acid and vitamin B12, helps reduce levels of plasma homocysteine, a metabolite harmful to the vascular endothelium. Antioxidants such as resveratrol, Coenzyme Q10, sesamin, and piperine help counteract oxidative stress, one of the main causes of cellular deterioration. The recommended dose is 1 capsule per day:
- to be taken shortly before dinner;
- to be combined with a healthy and balanced diet.
If you wish to increase your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids, you can combine Cardiol with 1-2 capsules of Omegor Vitality 1000, a dietary supplement of Omega-3 EPA and DHA. I hope this response is helpful and thank you for contacting us.
Best regards,
