Are there Omega-3 supplements for children?

Dear Antimo,

Our product dedicated to children is Omegor Kids. Flavored with orange, it is a liquid supplement in convenient single-dose sachets containing 200 mg of DHA from algal oil. The amount of DHA in each sachet is the recommended dosage by the European Commission and the most authoritative pediatric and clinical nutrition associations to support the physical, intellectual, and behavioral growth of children. The Omega-3 DHA fatty acid is one of the fundamental components of the membranes of nervous system cells and is also "involved" in the development of visual abilities. The formulation is enriched with:

  • vitamin D3, important for the fixation of calcium and phosphates in bones and tooth enamel;
  • vitamin C, an antioxidant useful to stimulate the immune system.
All this is made particularly pleasant by the presence of honey, a source of natural energy with known antibacterial, soothing, and emollient properties. The recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day, to be taken alone (for example, instead of a snack) or added to plain yogurt or fruit. It does not need to be taken on a full stomach, making the product very practical as it can be taken anywhere and at any time of day. Treatment cycles of 2-3 months can be done, followed by a 1-month break between cycles.

Supplementation with Omegor Kids is particularly useful and effective also during the school period. I warmly greet you and remain available for any further clarifications.
