Which omega-3 supplement is recommended to strengthen the immune system of 2 children aged 6 and 8?

Dear Simona,

Our product dedicated to children is Omegor Kids, a liquid supplement flavored with orange, available in single-dose sachets containing 200 milligrams of DHA from algal oil. Supplementation with Omegor Kids is particularly useful and effective during the school period, and your children’s age is perfect to start dietary supplementation. The amount of DHA present is that recommended by the European Commission and the most authoritative pediatric and clinical nutrition associations worldwide to support the physical, intellectual, and behavioral growth of the child. The Omega-3 fatty acid DHA is indeed a fundamental constituent of cell membranes in the nervous system and is also involved in the development of visual capabilities. The formulation is enriched with:

  • vitamin D3, important for the fixation of calcium and phosphates in bones and tooth enamel;
  • vitamin C, an antioxidant useful for stimulating the immune system.

The pleasant taste is enhanced by the presence of honey, a natural energy source known for its antibacterial, soothing, and emollient properties. The recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day:

  • to be taken alone or as a snack replacement;
  • added to yogurt, plain or fruit-flavored.

I recommend storing the sachets in the refrigerator to preserve the product’s organoleptic characteristics.

There is no need to administer on a full stomach, which makes the product very practical as it can be taken anywhere and at any time of the day. Treatment cycles of 2-3 months can be carried out, followed by a 1-month break between cycles.

Best regards, and I remain available for any further clarifications.
