Work-Related Stress: Can Omega-3 Help?
I am a sixty-year-old lady who is a bit stressed because I work many hours a day. Could you recommend a treatment to lift me up a bit? Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you.
Dear Madam,
Work-related stress is a quite common phenomenon that produces a series of symptoms, more or less significant from the point of view of mental and physical health. What I can recommend among our omega-3 supplements is Omegor Krill, a krill oil supplement, indicated for states of psychophysical stress and to promote better concentration ability.
Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA in the form of phospholipids and natural astaxanthin, so it allows you to benefit from the anti-inflammatory effect of omega-3 and the powerful antioxidant action of astaxanthin. Omegor Krill contains pure krill oil from the cold seas of the South Atlantic and is available in hard gelatin capsules, which, unlike softgels, are completely odorless.
The recommended dosage is 2 capsules per day to be taken before a meal, preferably in the first part of the day. If you also experience symptoms of omega-3 deficiency in your diet, such as dry skin and mood imbalance, you can combine Omegor Krill with 1 capsule per day of Omegor Antiage, which combines omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids with a cocktail of nutrients with antioxidant activity.
The recommended supplementation period is at least 2 months. I recommend informing your doctor of your decision to start dietary supplementation if you are simultaneously undergoing pharmacological treatment.
I hope I have been helpful and invite you to contact us again for any further questions on the matter.
Best regards,
Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
