ADHD, what if my child suffers from it?
Dear Chiara,
As a general premise, I recommend considering dietary supplements as nutritional support with exclusively nutritional and physiological effects to promote the regular functioning of the body. Based on what you described, VitaDHA in single-dose vials is probably the most suitable product for your 5-year-old child. Usually, children who show attention deficits or hyperactivity benefit from DHA omega-3 intake, as these children are often more deficient in this fatty acid which has very important structural functions at the level of the nervous system and the retina.
Since, as you mentioned, no ADHD diagnosis has been made, if you decide to start supplementation with VitaDHA, I recommend that this integration be undertaken in agreement with your pediatrician. For your child, you can start with a dosage of half a vial per day or one vial every other day for the first two weeks of supplementation, then increase the dosage to 1 vial per day, planning a supplementation period of at least 2 months. The oil can be taken directly from the vial or poured onto a teaspoon since it is almost odorless and tasteless of fish and is lemon-flavored. Alternatively, it can be added to plain yogurt or fruit, spreadable cheeses, or smoothies. I remain available for further information.
Best regards,
