Carnitine, arginine... what to choose for cholesterol?

I am interested in supplements based on arginine and carnitine, and products for cholesterol. Thank you

Good morning,

For cholesterol control, in our supplement line we do not have formulations based on arginine and carnitine. However, we do have dietary supplements for cardiovascular health (Cardiol Forte and Eulipid).

The Cardiol Forte is a dietary supplement based on highly purified and concentrated fish oil omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. It contains plant extracts such as red yeast rice, artichoke extract standardized in chlorogenic acid and luteolin 7-glucoside, monacolins from red yeast rice, and olive extract standardized in hydroxytyrosol.

It is also enriched with coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin E to protect blood lipids and cells from oxidative stress. The bio-phenols contained in the artichoke extract have choleretic, cholagogue, and hepatoprotective activity. Furthermore, the flavonoids present inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis and protect LDL from oxidative damage. Additionally, the intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA daily contributes to normal cardiac function.

Eulipid is a dietary supplement made of only plant extracts and nutrients without fish oil. It contains berberine, extracted from Berberis aristata; a plant widely used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine that facilitates the "capture" of cholesterol by the liver. Eulipid also contains resveratrol, bioflavonoids, tocotrienols, policosanols, and coenzyme Q10 with antioxidant and protective action for the circulatory system. You can associate these products with supplementation of Omegor Vitality 1000 at a dosage of 1–2 capsules per day to increase your daily omega-3 intake.

I remain available for further information and recommend informing your doctor if you intend to start any supplementation. Your doctor will be able to advise you best, especially considering any concurrent pharmacological therapies.
