Dry Eyes, Yes to Omega-3. But Which Ones?

Hello, I need to take omega-3 supplements for 8 months because I suffer from dry eyes. Which one do you recommend? If I take Cardiol, are there any contraindications? I am 29 years old and in good health. Thank you! Elisabetta

Dear Elisabetta,

For dry eye – also known as "dry eye syndrome" – I recommend dietary supplementation with Omegor TwinEFA, a supplement based on purified and concentrated fish oil rich in omega‐3 EPA and DHA and borage oil rich in omega‐6 GLA.

The combination of omega‐3 and omega‐6 exerts a powerful anti-inflammatory effect: several clinical studies have shown that this combination can significantly reduce symptoms of dry eye – thanks to an increase in the lipid layer and reduction of dry eye irritation.

How to take Omegor TwinEFA?

For dry eye, I recommend a dosage of 1‐2 capsules per day of Omegor TwinEFA to be taken with a meal, for a period of 3 ‐ 6 months. Omegor TwinEFA is available in soft capsules, containing fish oil with a pleasant taste – deodorized and flavored with orange. The capsules can be swallowed whole or chewed, so that only the oil is swallowed and the gelatin shell discarded. I remain available for further information.

Best regards,
