Endometriosis: Omegor Vitality 1000 or 500 is better?
Dear Claudia,
In the case of endometriosis, nutrition plays an important role, and supplementation with omega-3 EPA and DHA is very useful thanks to the anti-inflammatory effect of these fatty acids. EPA and DHA, present in fish oil, reduce the inflammatory response by replacing arachidonic acid in cell membranes, a substance from which inflammatory molecules originate.
Regular consumption of fish and EPA and DHA can therefore be a valid complementary treatment for endometriosis, useful to relieve inflammation and reduce the use of anti-inflammatory drugs that are generally used.
The products Omegor Vitality 1000 and Omegor Vitality 500 differ only in the amount of fish oil contained in each capsule, and therefore in their size. In Omegor Vitality 1000 each capsule contains 1000 mg of fish oil, while Omegor Vitality 500 contains half. The Omegor Vitality 500 format is designed for those who have difficulty swallowing larger capsules but in terms of quality and purity there is no difference between the two products.
In cases of endometriosis, the useful dosage of EPA and DHA corresponds to 2-3 capsules per day of Omegor Vitality 1000 or, if preferred, 4-6 capsules of Omegor Vitality 500. The ingredients of Omegor Vitality (1000 and 500) are: concentrated and purified fish oil in Omega-3 EPA and DHA, natural vitamin E in sunflower oil. The capsule shell consists of bovine gelatin and vegetable glycerol. The product is gluten-free and soy is not present as an ingredient.
Kind regards,
