Folliculitis and skin inflammation, which supplement do I choose?
Good morning, I would like to take an omega-3 supplement for dry skin, folliculitis, chilblains on my hands, etc. I think Omegor Vitality might be the right product among those you offer, but I don’t know the dosage. Could you help me? Thank you very much.
Dear Roberta,
To address folliculitis, chilblains, dry skin, and generally support skin wellness, the product that might prove most useful is Omegor Antiage. The formulation of Omegor Antiage is very rich in active ingredients that support skin trophism, microcirculation, and help resolve inflammatory phenomena—such as folliculitis.
The main nutrients in the formulation are the polyunsaturated fatty acids EPA and DHA (omega‐3) and gamma-linolenic acid (omega‐6) from borage oil. They may promote a rebalancing and normalizing action on the production of hormone-like molecules (eicosanoids), thus favoring:
- elasticity
- hydration
- skin tone
The skin actively metabolizes essential fats, supporting the production of anti-inflammatory substances.
What is the recommended dosage of Omegor Antiage for folliculitis and skin inflammations?
The recommended dosage for Omegor Antiage is 1 capsule per day, to be taken close to a meal. One last piece of advice, which applies to folliculitis but also to overall personal health: if your diet lacks fish and thus omega‐3, try to increase your intake by eating oily fish at least twice a week.
If this is not possible, you can opt to take a high-concentration omega‐3 supplement such as Omegor Vitality 1000, which you can safely combine with Omegor Antiage at a dosage of 2 capsules per day. I remain available for further information.
