Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Dyslipidemia, What to Replace Eskim With?
I am 48 years old, menopausal, have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, take Tirosint 100, have familial dyslipidemia, am intolerant to statins, and have fatty liver disease. I currently take Eskim 1000 and would like to replace it. What would you recommend? If I take Omegor 1000 to complete the supplementation both for anti-aging and heart health, what should I combine it with? Thank you, Rita.
Dear Rita,
In agreement with your doctor’s advice, I recommend using the product Meaquor while continuing the use of Eskim. Meaquor is a dietary supplement with a high concentration of omega-3s and excellent purity levels, certified 5 stars by IFOS. Even in a condition like fatty liver disease, EPA and DHA omega-3s will provide support, as you can read in these two articles on our blog showing results from various studies conducted specifically on omega-3 supplementation in subjects with fatty liver.
The recommended dose of EPA + DHA omega-3 in case of fatty liver disease is 2-3 grams per day, which aligns with the dose required to rebalance blood triglyceride levels, which is at least 2 grams per day. I remain available for further information.
