Hashimoto's Thyroiditis: Which Supplement to Choose?
Good evening, I would kindly like to ask for some information, if possible. I have an eighteen-year-old daughter who has Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Currently, she is not undergoing any thyroid therapy because although her two types of antibodies are altered, her thyroid function is still intact. Following an intestinal SIBO and consequent nutrient depletion, she is supplementing her diet with multivitamins, vitamins C, D, calcium, magnesium, and plant proteins. She was told she should also take omega-3. I would like to give her a product pure from heavy metals, and I have seen your products online. Could you recommend which one to take and at what doses? Thank you in advance and best regards.
Dear Lidia,
The product I recommend to supplement your daughter's diet is Omegor Vitality 1000 (pack of 30 or 45 softgels); 1-2 capsules per day to be taken with a main meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). Omegor Vitality 1000 is a dietary supplement based on fish oil purified and concentrated by multiple molecular distillation, a technological process that removes contaminants normally present in the seas such as heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins, and furans.
Each batch of this product is certified 5 stars by IFOS, and below you will find the link where you can consult the certificate of analysis for the batch currently available for purchase on our website.
The high purity of the fish oil used in Omegor Vitality makes this product suitable for prolonged use without risks of contaminant accumulation.
Best regards,
