Hypercholesterolemia and hyperuricemia: what to do?

High hypercholesterolemia and hyperuricemia. I am currently following an acid-base diet, but I have not yet seen results. I would like to avoid traditional treatments (which I have already undergone in the past): I was thinking about Cardiol Forte, but I cannot find anything for hyperuricemia. Thank you.

Dear Madam,

Thank you for contacting us. As you have already observed, in cases of high hypercholesterolemia, the most useful product is Cardiol Forte because it contains the dosage of monacolin K approved by EFSA for maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels. Furthermore, the presence of omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil works synergistically with the monacolin K from red yeast rice to act even more effectively on hypercholesterolemia.

The recommended dosage for Cardiol Forte is 1 capsule per day, to be taken in the evening close to dinner for a period of at least 2 months. After this time, it is advisable to repeat blood tests to verify the effectiveness of the supplementation on hypercholesterolemia.

Regarding hyperuricemia, I can tell you that from a dietary point of view the omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil may be useful for their potential anti-inflammatory effect: with prolonged use over time they can help moderately reduce the inflammation typical of joints, which occurs due to the precipitation of uric acid crystals. In this case, you could add to the supplementation with Cardiol Forte a pure and concentrated fish oil supplement such as Omegor Vitality—I recommend 1 or 2 capsules per day with meals.

At this link you can finally find useful nutritional advice regarding hyperuricemia. I remain available for any needs.
