Is the Omegor Mind supplement suitable for diabetes?
Good morning, does Omegor Mind contain glucose? My grandmother has diabetes; can she take it? She also suffers from slightly high blood pressure and mild cholesterol, but I understand it should not interfere, right? Thank you very much. Michela
Dear Michela,
Omegor Mind is a dietary supplement useful as a tonic for memory and cognitive functions in people over 55 or in children with learning difficulties, thanks to the presence of Bacopa monnieri extract, a plant well-known in traditional medicine. I confirm that Omegor Mind can be used by your grandmother, as it does not contain glucose, and the intake of omega-3 fatty acids present in this supplement is not contraindicated in cases of diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol; on the contrary, EPA and DHA help reduce the inflammatory state typical of diabetic disease, promote the increase of "good" HDL cholesterol, and stabilize heart rate and rhythm. However, I recommend consulting a doctor regarding the intention to follow supplementation with Omegor Mind, especially if your grandmother is on any pharmacological therapy.
