Is VitaDHA 1000 suitable for 7 and 11 year old girls?
I would like to know if it is possible to give one tablet per day of VITADHA 1000 to a girl aged 11 and another aged 7, who do not eat fish. I have tried Omegor Kids, but did not see many positive results. Thank you.
Dear Lucia,
VitaDHA 1000 is a supplement with a high content of DHA, very useful during developmental stages, so it is suitable for children aged 3 and above. One tablet of VitaDHA 1000 contains 430 milligrams of DHA in natural triglyceride form, which is more stable and digestible, and is particularly indicated to improve nerve transmission and the central production of neurotransmitters that influence emotional state. The omega-3s abundant in VitaDHA 1000 are also useful for supporting normal heart function, normal blood triglyceride levels, and normal blood pressure. According to several studies, omega-3 deficiency in childhood and adolescence could promote oppositional behaviors and compromise school performance, as reported in an article published on the blog.
DHA omega-3 is indeed an essential component of the cell membranes of nerve cells and the retina and plays a fundamental role in mediating processes that allow signal transmission between neurons. I also remind you that the omega-3s in VitaDHA 1000 help support normal heart function, normal blood triglyceride levels, and normal blood pressure.
