Can I take Omega-3 in combination with 100 mg of cardioaspirin daily?

Can I take Omega-3 alongside 100 mg of daily cardioaspirin? If so, how much and when? Are they beneficial for sports?

Dear Mr. Margozzi,

no adverse effects have been reported from the combined use of cardioaspirin and Omega-3.

A study by Dr. Serhan, a researcher at Harvard (USA), showed that acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) stimulates the production of resolvins, endogenous compounds derived from EPA and DHA with a strong anti-inflammatory effect. I recommend taking 1 capsule of Omegor Vitality 1000 shortly before a main meal. Each capsule contains 400 mg of EPA and 200 mg of DHA.

Regarding your second question, I can confirm that supplementation with these fatty acids is very beneficial during physical activity.

  • It promotes better oxygenation of all tissues;
  • It aids in recovery from physical fatigue;
  • It inhibits the formation of free radicals;
  • It improves physical endurance.

The 2:1 ratio of Omega-3 fatty acids EPA to DHA in Omegor Vitality 1000 helps minimize muscle and joint inflammation.

I remain at your disposal for any further questions and send my kind regards.
