Thrombosis and omega-3, which supplement?

Dear Doctor, I would like to know if Omega-3 TG have contraindications and if they can be taken by those who are on medication with antiplatelet agents (Plavix) and beta-blockers. Thank you.

Following or at risk of thrombosis and in case of therapy with antithrombotic and/or antiplatelet drugs, dietary supplementation with Omega-3 EPA and DHA is not recommended, because these fatty acids over time can exert a blood-thinning effect.

Therefore, I strongly recommend consulting your doctor before starting omega-3 supplementation.
