Cardiol or Eulipid: which is preferable in subjects not at cardiac risk?

Good morning, I would like to know if omega-3 helps with weight loss and if it helps fight abdominal fat.

Dear Fabio,

According to the cardiovascular risk prevention program, your values actually fall within the normal range, for which no specific therapies are necessary.

It is better to prioritize a healthy lifestyle with a varied diet and moderate physical activity. Cardiol is a useful ally for our cardiovascular health because it combines Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA (450 milligrams per capsule) with other active ingredients highly specific for hypercholesterolemia. For example, the red yeast rice present in Cardiol contains monacolin K (3 milligrams per capsule), a natural statin with a structure very similar to lovastatin.

Recent clinical studies have shown that the combination of fish oil and red yeast rice is effective in reducing cholesterol levels comparable to prescription statins. Furthermore, Cardiol has been successfully used in patients intolerant to statins, with satisfying results and without side effects. Bioflavonoids, policosanols, tocotrienols, and vitamin B3 work synergistically with red yeast rice to effectively promote the reduction of LDL cholesterol.

The recommended dose for Cardiol is 1 capsule per day, preferably taken before dinner and for at least 8 weeks. After this initial period, repeat the tests to evaluate the effect of the supplementation. My advice is to discuss with your doctor the possibility of using Cardiol and decide with them the most appropriate therapy. I remain available for any further questions on the matter.
